We came up with the idea for our rich Pecan-Smoked Whiskey Enchilada Sauce family recipe sitting around the campfire. It’s the first Americana fusion we created for our customers at the farmers market, and you can bet they came back for more!

A special blend of chilis and spices inspired by the historic Chili Queens, who invented chili in our hometown of San Antonio, and our favorite whiskey, it has the same flavor profile as its sister Fixin’s.  However, it’s been sieved to create a smooth, velvety sauce that makes for a fantastic batch of enchiladas!

Just like our Fixin’s, we also recommend using it in a variety of ways, such as a marinade, sauté or barbecue sauce for all types of cuisines.

The Love Behind the Chili

A family-owned company, John and Diana Anderson, fell in love over a bowl of chili. After nearly a decade on the chili trail to develop our unique recipes, our search led us back to the inception of chili. It’s thanks to our own rich blend of chili peppers in our handcrafted paste that Diana has been crowned the modern Chili Queen of San Antonio.
